Arid land surrounds me in all directions.
The heat of the sun beats down on me and withers me.
I thirst for you. I am parched from crying out for/to you
You refresh the weariest of souls. One drop of your water will sustain me
Quench my eternal thirst of my soul.
You are the oasis my soul longs for
You are the living water;
You are the river that flows to the deepest depths.
The depths of your waters are beyond the deepest of understanding.
Turn this desert into the ocean of your glory
The riverbed into the floodplain of your righteousness
