On a friend request on My Space said that they liked my style. I didn’t know that I had any style. I can only guess that they were on about the blogs that I had posted there. Blogs I have also posted elsewhere. They were me downloading stuff as the only style I have is to be me – whatever that is. It’s the only style that anyone can have, to be the person that they are. We may try and be something we’re not, or, in most case, hide certain aspects of which we are that we don’t want to make known. All that achieves is nothing. We don’t want to be seen as week or as failures. This is something that I struggle with.
We don’t want to be seen as weak or inferior.
We all want to be a part of something, to belong. We are made to be with others. We are social beings and don’t want to be left out and stuck on the periphery.
Dare we drop our facade and be seen as human, the people that we are mad to be.
The strongest, courageous people are those who are at ease with themselves who have the confidence to dare to be who God has made them to be, to be totally focused on him. For it is for your glory to be that way.
To be so focused on Jesus that the only way that we can see those around us, is as Jesus sees them, and to love then as Jesus loves them.To be out on the periphery, where so many hurting people are and be real with them; be Jesus to them and to love them as Jesus loves them –
